Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, or nasal surgery, involves reconstructing the nose following an injury or in order to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing shape. Dr. Sobel specializes in facial cosmetic procedures and has been performing rhinoplasty successfully for more than twenty years. Surgery takes place in the surgical suite in our Bellevue, WA, offices, following extensive consultation with Dr. Sobel. Small incisions are made inside the nose to prevent visible scarring, and cartilage and bone are removed to allow for Dr. Sobel to restructure the nose. Following surgery, follow-up appointments are necessary to monitor healing progress. Patients typically recover within a week.

Blepharoplasty

Commonly known as eyelid surgery or an eye lift, blepharoplasty removes excess skin above and below the eye to minimize visible signs of aging. This procedure is the most effective eye treatment for removing lines and wrinkles, as Dr. Sobel removes the exact amount of skin and fat to give the eye a natural, youthful look. Realignment of the ears can give the face a more balanced look and is, for many, a great way to boost self-esteem. Ear surgery is performed by Dr. Sobel in our surgery suite, and involves removing excess skin and fat to reshape the ear. Recovery typically takes seven to ten days and sutures are used to keep the ears in place for proper healing. Patients can be driven home the same day following the procedure.
